NO MANS LAND

No Mans Land is a feature length world symphony concert film commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the First World War. Created by composer John Psathas this film takes the descendants of the opposing forces on a pilgrimage to the battlefields where their ancestors fought and died. Filmed in France, Belgium, Poland, India and New Zealand with over 150 musicians from 20 countries, this epic orchestral work is a meditation on the power of music and the horror of war. 

Mathew won a bronze award at the 2018 New Zealand Cinematographers Society for his work on No Mans Land
